The Sera Memorial Health & Education Foundation is a non- governmental organization founded in 2016 especially from the name of Social Activist Late Sher Bahadur Tamang and Ramri Tamang who were also victim of cancer and passed away from that cause. The organization was established aiming to do preventive program for the under privileged, poor & victim of cancer people of remote area in Nepal through awareness program, supporting basic education, and making modern organic agriculture as a good option of occupation to the people so that they can secure from human trafficking being lack of employment, also reduce the cause of cancer using organic product they product themselves.
Objectives
- Support the children for their education of remote and disadvantaged area of Nepal.
- Helping those people of Nepal who financially weak and out of access of health facility, coordinating various National & International donors and conduct health camp.
- Support to construction of school, analyzing the children who are out of school coordinating other NGOs, INGOs & Social Welfare Council.
- Especially do financial support to the victim of Cancer and facilitate to take the hospital for them.
- Assist the children of late victim of cancer for their education.
- Conduct Ambulance service for the society.
- Provide useful skill training for women, disadvantaged group of people and make them independent.
- Do awareness program against the cancer promoting organic agriculture reducing the agricultural product with chemical fertilizer and pesticide because we found it is also cause of cancer.
- Provide effective awareness program & training for people of the society like Ghyangphedi Nuwakot to prevent them from girls trafficking/human trafficking.
Vision
Build the society totally educated, independent (who are totally dependent on their family specially women) and aware to fight against the different kind of diseases and poverty making the agriculture as a good occupation promoting organic agriculture rather than traditional chemical fertilizer using agriculture.

- Make the people of village aware about the various kind of disease by supporting in their education and conducting health camp.
- Construct the school building collecting fund from different national and international donors being under the rule of government of Nepal.
- Provide useful vocational training for the women and dependent on patient of cancer to make independent.
- Give financial support for the serious patient of different diseases analyzing actual need basis.
- Conduct health camp in different place for the awareness.
- Make aware about the agricultural goods either they should use organic or chemical used goods to the people of under privileged society and operate other preventive program of cancer.
